War wagons wizard and pegasi

My human armies keep getting more reinforcements. A second war wagon has arrived to bolster the 1st Panzer regiment.

Two empire war wagons
New wagon on the left. I did it up in a scheme very close to the first one, envisioning that they belong to the same squadron.
A panzer-engineer war wagon squadron thundering ahead to crush the enemy line with bullet and specialist close combat weapons
Doing a little drive-by
Three of the crew were fairly well painted, and only needed some shading and highlights to put them at the same level as the unpainted ones. Not often I get to reuse the paint job on an ebay purchase.

Balthasar Gelt

Wizards on pegasi are freakin great in Kings of War. I’ve been running two in my various pikemen experiments, and Balthasar here was lacking proper paint, so he jumped to the front of the painting queue.

Chad Gelt himself, master of the lore of metal, fun to play in Total war, and very useful on the tabletop in Kings of War
He is kind of hard to photograph. In hindsight, I should probably have mounted the pegasus on a tall rock or something to get the mini a bit more “airborne” and imposing.

Kislev Pegasus knights

The Order of the Eagle is a small knightly order riding pegasi into battle. Only the richest of Kislev nobility are able to send their sons to the Order of the Eagle, as the knights travel to Parravon to train with their legendary pegasus knights and to purchase their own flying beast. A single pegasus can cost the equivalent to thirty war horses.

While few in numbers, the order fill a vital tactical role when they join a Kislev rota (army). They can scout out the enemy for weak spots, hunt down enemy fliers, or strike targets behind the main enemy battleline.

With their winged backbanners shrieking in the wind, the Order of the Eagle strike the enemy from above
Pretty happy with the heraldry, which is inspired by heraldry from Total war Kislev factions
